life takes many unexpected turns

When in 2007 our son Tommy was born with Down Syndrome a friend sent me these words. It took me some years to see their beauty.

Her words became my motto. Life is full of surprises, good and bad. Stay curious and learn along the way, there’s a lot to find after each corner. They also fit my style and approach to coaching and facilitation: calm, curious and pragmatic.

I support individuals and teams of all levels, who have a growth desire or want to get unstuck and are not afraid to look in the mirror.

I spent a big part of my professional life in international marketing and brand building at Nike, Sid Lee and Sonos. Supporting the growth of talented individuals from all over the world was always my drive. In 2020 I changed lanes to the rewarding world of personal leadership development as certified senior coach, trainer and facilitator.

I live in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel with my wife Monique, our kids Tommy (19) and Liv (17) and dog Charlie. Whenever I can, I slow down on the lovely island of Texel, our home away from home.
